The League of Legends Champions Korea has welcomed a new member to its list of ten teams. On 10th of September, APK Prince was promoted from to play in the LCK starting from 2020.
At the end of Challengers Korea 2019 summer split, APK Prince won the CK playoffs and earned its spot for the promotions, held from 9th of September. On the first day of promotion, APK Prince defeated Hanwha Life Esports on a 2-1 match score. Then, on the second day of the promotions APK Prince toppled down Jin Air Greenwings and was promoted to the LCK.
APK Prince’s current roster is a mixture of LCK veterans such as Jeon ‘ikssu’ Ik-soo and Lee ‘KaKAO’ Byung-kwon as well as upcoming talents such as Kim ‘Trigger’ Eui-joo and Kim ‘Cover’ Joo-eon.
APK Prince will play in the LCK starting from the 2020 spring split, alongside SK Telecom T1, Griffin, DAMWON Gaming, Kingzone DragonX, SANDBOX Gaming, Afreeca Freecs, Gen.G, KT Rolster and one other pending team.
